More Than Makeup 💫

One of my biggest goals in my business is to help women feel good— and for me, it's always been about so much more than just makeup.

Yes, I love playing with beautiful products and creating gorgeous looks, but the best part? It's the connections I get to make along the way.

Over the last 6 months or so, I've pushed myself a little more out of my comfort zone and connected with other women — and honestly, it’s been incredible. Those conversations, shared experiences, and moments of encouragement have massively boosted my desire to keep going with my business.

But I won’t lie — the makeup world can feel incredibly competitive. The self-sabotage and negative thinking started to creep in. Thoughts like “I’m not getting enough followers” or “Why aren’t my posts getting more likes?” — and before I knew it, I was comparing myself to someone I'd never even met.

But here's what I've learned... none of that truly matters. What does matter are the real connections and the little moments.
Makeup and skincare are just the tools I use to help women feel empowered, confident, and comfortable in their own skin. And if I can play a small part in making someone feel good about themselves, then that’s what keeps me going.

So if you’re feeling stuck, doubting yourself, or comparing your journey to someone else’s — please know you’re not alone. You’re doing amazing, and your journey is unfolding exactly as it should. 💫

Now that I’ve had time to breathe, I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who attended our event today.

All week, I kept wondering if anyone would actually want to hear me talk about makeup application as we get older. I can be my own worst critic, always putting myself down—but the amazing feedback I received today meant the world. It was so special to share something I’m so passionate about in a room full of incredible women.

Can't wait for some yummy food from Crilly’s Kitchen and to relax and enjoy chatting to like minded people.

I’m also delighted to be joining Woman Warriors in my wee community of Whitburn on Sunday night, where I’ll be guiding everyone through a simple yet effective skincare routine packed with skin health benefits.

I’ve had a little break from weddings over the past few months with it being winter, and as much as I needed the downtime, I’ve really missed them! There’s nothing quite like the buzz of a wedding morning, the chats, the excitement, and seeing everything come together—it’s honestly one of my favorite things.

March is all about trials for my upcoming brides, and I can’t wait to catch up, hear all the updates on your plans, and start creating your perfect bridal look. Then, from April, the weddings officially begin, and I’m SO ready to get back into it!
