I used to be scared of getting older, I fed into the concept that youth was power.

I honestly felt trapped so two years ago I decided to take on a healing journey of trauma therapy, shadow work & deep inner work, and I can now say on my 40th year on this beautiful rock I have never felt more joyful, content, free and happy with my life choices so far

This is just some of what I’ve learnt;

✨ Forgive them, not for them, but for you, make peace with it.

✨ Feel your feelings, journal them, wallow for 24hrs, then get the hell back up.

✨ Compliments on your soul are far more valuable than on your packaging.

✨ Remember what you loved doing as a child, and make a career out of it. I loved art and now I make a living drawing on peoples faces!

✨ Make friends of all ages, backgrounds, creeds and colours, who are always ready to run off and have an adventure with you; different people expand your view of the world, that expands your view of what is possible for YOU.

✨ Love your mother, and learn as much about her as possible before she leaves SHE is the true love of your life.

✨ Travel the path YOUR heart pulls you to, kids/no kids, set up home/nomad lifestyle, it’s only a short trip, we owe it to ourselves to do what pulls us, otherwise why are we even here?

✨ Take care of your friendships as you would your relationships, they really are soul ties.

✨ When someone shows you who they are, believe them the 1st time.

✨ Don’t view relationships as forever, it puts to much stress on them, enjoy what you have now & build on that, we don’t own any one & shouldn’t want to.

✨ Not wanting to live the same route as the norm is ok, run wild and free, don’t be the old lady who wasted her trip here doing what others expected.
