The perch was looking for a new girlfriend, but it turned out to be Zenit Prize #4. That happens.

The Heddon Spinfin Antique Lure was first introduced in 1956 and was in Heddon’s lure catalog line up until 1976. The numeration is based on its weight and color ranging from 2 1/4″- 2 5/8″ and weights between 1/8, 1/4, & 1/2 oz respectively.

The lure itself was comprised of a painted lead weight on a inline spinner with a adjacent chrome flasher. The lure used a fixed single hook to secure its prey. The lure came standard in roughly 7 different colors.

A bit of history about spinning lures. After about a week of searching through American websites and groups any information about this spinner, I finally found a result: there's a lure in my collection that was released in the period between 1900 and 1921 in Boston. It's remarkably well-preserved.))))
