🌺This course is designed to give therapists some basic tools, techniques and understanding of myofascial cupping and how to integrate cupping into your massage session.
The course will teach you how to use silicone cups as a tool to help increase more circulation and help release tension patterns in your clients.

🌺You will learn how to put the cups on the body, how to clean and maintain the cups, how to create an integrative cupping and massage session, how to glide the cups and how to know where to leave them for trigger point release and how to use the cups for pinning and stretching / myofascial release.
Whereas in ‘normal’ massage we put pressure on the body, cupping has a way of pulling the tissues up, helping to access the deeper tissues and give the clients a different kind of sensation.

🌺Cupping is an excellent tool to help with myofascial release and takes stress off the therapist’s hands. You will learn techniques to help with, shoulder, rotator cuff, neck, back and an intro into the posterior legs/glutes.
Most of all you will learn how integrative cupping can support you as a therapist giving you new tools to help you and your clients.

The Search For Peace art show will take place this Friday March 14, 5-9 pm Featuring local artist .vp Cinthia Vaz Pacheco is a Brazilian who has lived in Maui for 11 years and became a ceramic artist 6 years ago. She signs as Cih, and her passion is to create functional and decorative pieces that explore the beauty of everyday objects and the connection between nature and form.
🌺She draws inspiration from the natural wonders of Maui’s world, and seeks to capture them with traditional pottery techniques. She works primarily with red and white clay type, hand-building and wheel-throwing are her favorite techniques to create, but she also uses coiling, slab-building, and pinching in order to create sculptures.
🌺Cinthia loves to experiment with the texture, wide array of colors, and create unique glazes combinations for her pieces. Her work aims to celebrate the beauty of nature and authentic art by creating objects that are unique and enhance daily life moments.

🌺Bill is a local Maui artist who began to explore his lifelong passion for art after retirement. He enjoys interpreting his life travels and experiances through acrylic and watercolor mediums.
🌺He is primarily a self-thought artist who has taken inspiration from the great masters of the reinaisance and impressionist periods. He often emphises strong colors using dark and light values.
Bill enjoys painting an array of subjects to include Hawaii’s beautiful landscapes, history and folklore.

On the table, I specialize in Pre/Postnatal Massage, Lomilomi, Deep Tissue, & Reiki. A Triple Pisces, I am very much a water baby & this informs my work. My fluid-like movement is a combination of Hawaiian Lomilomi (patterned after the ocean) & deep tissue. I am very passionate about water—swimming in & advocating for the ocean, giving aquatic bodywork sessions, & playing as a mermaid (I own Mermaid Memories Maui). I’ve been a singer all my life & also play guitar. I’m a retired Birth Doula, having assisted 250 births. I’m a huge baker, vegetarian cook & green juicer, as well as a gardener. I’m very passionate about animal welfare & volunteer at the Maui Humane Society.
● What is your favorite part of helping clients? My favorite part of my healing arts work is being able to be truly present for another person, which we don’t otherwise get much of in life. I love knowing that by breathing with & being present with a client, I can help them to feel safe and seen. I love that I can help facilitate energetic and physical shifts through my work, & that my ancestors are proud of me for doing this very human, intimate, needed work that has existed since the beginning of time.

During a time where touch was nearly forbidden, he saw how vital healthy touch is for us all. Anthony’s specialty is Deep Tissue Massage and Neuromuscular Trigger Point Therapy. Working on the body slowly to allow it to open itself for the deeper work and the deepest possible release. His skills and training extend into Swedish, Sports, Shiatsu, Lomi Lomi, Craniosacral, Prenatal, Hydrotherapy, Cupping, Reflexology, Ashiatsu, and other techniques he has learned through formal education and travels across the world. His care extends beyond humans as he is certified in both Canine and Equine Massage.
